Marion Weber

Marion Weber was born May 24, 1940 in Windom, MN to Laurence and Margaret (Waterman) Weber. She graduated from Sanborn High School in 1958. She worked at Sanborn High School and Red Rock Central High School as secretary for over 50 years. She was a faithful member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sanborn. Marion enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, knitting, playing piano and coloring. Shortly after she retired, she moved to the Maples at St. John's Lutheran Home for three years for health reasons. The last couple of months she was in and out of the hospital and nursing home.


She is survived by her sister Joan (Willis) Wendland of Balaton, MN, nieces, Cambi (Mike) Lehmann of Mankato, MN, Pamela Speckien of Eau Claire, WI, Lynette (Matt) Peterson of North Mankato, MN, nephew, Troy (Allisa) Wendland of Balaton, MN, and seven grand-nieces and eight grand-nephews. Marion is preceded in death by her parents, nieces, Michele Goettl, baby Joan Wendland and grand-niece, Moriah Lehmann.


In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be given to the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sanborn or the donors choice.
