Eunice Mattison

Eunice Evanguline Pruden was born July 13, 1929 near Westbrook, MN, to parents Amzy and Georgia (Rodda) Pruden. She grew up in the Westbrook area where she attended country school through the 8th grade and then attended Westbrook High School. On September 9, 1951 Eunice was united in marriage to Wayne Mattison. Eunice worked at the egg plant in Westbrook for a couple years as well as helped Wayne on the farm. The couple made their home south of Lamberton until moving into town in 1974. She enjoyed roller skating in her younger years. She was a great cook, enjoyed canning, excellent seamstress. She loved attending sporting events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Eunice is survived by her 6 children: Wynell (Wendell) Pickett of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Glenda Mattison of Westbrook, Curtis (Cindy) Mattison of Hastings, Cindy (Bill) Schroeder of Redwood Falls, Sheri Mattison of Windom, Gregg Mattison of Chehalis, WA, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, parents and 2 grandchildren Stacy and Kurt.
