Lorna Helen Pahl

Lorna Helen Urban was born on August 22, 1929 to Albert and Ernestina (Kietzer) Urban in Pleasant Mound Township, MN.  She married Duane Pahl on May 2, 1948 and resided in rural Truman where they raised five children.  The couple was blessed with 62 years of marriage before Duane's passing in 2010.  Lorna was a wonderful cook, gardener, farmer, mother and grandmother with a heart of gold.  

Lorna H. Pahl, age 88, of Crosslake, MN, formerly of Truman, MN, went to be with her Lord and loving husband, Duane "Fuzzy" Pahl on March 4, 2018 at the Golden Horizons in Crosslake, MN.  Deepest gratitude and sincere thank you to Lynette and Don and their extended family for their overwhelming personal and compassionate care of her during her illness.  Also a thank you to the wonderful staff at Golden Horizons for their wonderful care of her and a special thank you to Warren and Cheryl Tabbatt for their numerous visits to brighten her day.  Mom is now happy listening to Fuzzy's golden accordion and tapping her foot.

Lorna is survived by her five children: Lynette (Don) Nichols of Jenkins, MN, Norma (Brad Johnson) Heckman of Vernon Center, MN, Gary (special friend Faith Clow) Pahl of Truman, MN, Cheryl (Dean Anders) Brown of Shakopee, MN and Linda (Curt) Bolles of Byron, MN; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane "Fuzzy" Pahl and sisters, Mabel Klaus, Mildred Frese, Lucille Wollschlager.
