Obituary of Ronald Danielson

Ronald J. Danielson age 66, of Mankato, MN, formerly of Lake Crystal, MN, died on February 15, 2017, at the Madelia Community Hospital.

Ronald John Danielson was born in Fairmont, MN, to Earl and Naomi Danielson on February 14, 1951. He attended Fairmont schools, graduating in 1969 and worked in the Fairmont area in manufacturing and other jobs. Ron was united in marriage to Barbara Koch on October 23, 1982. The couple moved to rural Lake Crystal in 1991. Ron later changed his career and most recently, had been working as an LPN at the Madelia Community Hospital. Ron was a skilled craftsman, most proud of building his own home in 1997. Known as a "MacGyver", he was always coming up with ways to fix, improve, or build something. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Danielson; sons, Brandon Danielson, Benjamin Danielson, Kristopher (Suzy) Tenney, Michael (Amanda) Tenney; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Mackenzie, Preston, Rebecca, Abigail, Lucy, Cooper, Lily; siblings, Bonnie McMurtry, Jeanne Petrei, Jenny Peterson, Richard (Tari) Danielson, Georgia Kelsh; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Naomi; sisters, Patricia, Pamela and Christine.
