Rochelle Lorna Runck, 51, Lamberton, Minnesota, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, in her mother’s arms, following a severe seizure as she went home to Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Rochelle was born January 24, 1964, in Tracy, MN and was a lifelong resident of Lamberton. She was baptized and confirmed at the Lamberton United Methodist Church. As a youth she enjoyed riding her Arabian horses, Rafken and Tahrir and Quarter horse Nugget. She took horse riding lessons, showed the horses in 4-H, participated in trail rides and rode her horses in parades. She played the flute in high school band, played the piano taking lessons from Carol Mattison, ran cross country and enjoyed swimming. Rochelle graduated from Lamberton High School in 1982. She helped on the family farm operating tractors for field work, walking bean fields, picking rock and mowing lawn. Rochelle was an active 4-H member with projects in swine, equine, clothing, foods, flower gardening and indoor gardening. Rochelle attended United Methodist Church camps at Camp Koronis and Decision Hills, and Northern Pines horse camp with Rafken. She enjoyed summer vacations with the family at Maddens Resort, Mexico, California, Lake Okiboji, Lake Vermillion and others. Rochelle enjoyed life immensely until life and health took her in a different direction. She still went on vacations with her parents to Washington DC, Africa, the Blackhills and Nevada. Rochelle enjoyed walking the field roads and riding in the John Deere Gator with her parents and Amy Skalbeck. Amy was Rochelle’s personal care assistant for the past two years. Her trusted care, attention and help with Rochelle, was greatly appreciated by the family. Rochelle is survived by her mother and father, Lorna and Ervin Runck, Lamberton, two brothers, Troy Runck, Lamberton, Russell Runck and wife Anne Runck of Watertown, MN, nephews Austin and Alexander Runck, aunts Ilene Bussler, Elizabeth (Beth) Russell, Jo Runck, uncle Leonard (Anita) Runck, cousins Shelly Gemelke, Gary Runck, Bryan Runck, Andrew Runck, Matthew Runck, Nathan Runck, Barbara Bumgardner, Brian Bussler, Denise Kalenberg and Andrea Thompson. She is preceded in death by grandparents William (Timothy) and Ida Russell, Ervin G. and Agnetta Runck, uncles Donald Runck, Delfert Bussler and cousin Darren Bussler.
