Robert Dean Schwint age 88, of Springfield, Minnesota died on August 1, 2019, at Franklin Rehab and Health in Franklin, Minnesota. Visitation will be on Monday, August 12th, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Graveside Service will be held at the Home Cemetery, on Monday, August 12th, at 3 pm . Robert "Robbie" Dean Schwint, 88, passed away on August 1, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1931 in Sleepy Eye, MN the son of Frank and Theo (Stowell) Schwint. He was a 1950 graduate of Sleepy Eye High School and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Robert married Janet Mickelsen on November 7, 1953 and God blessed the union with three children. Robert worked for John Deere and walked a mail route for the USPS for 37 years. Robert loved camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and fixing small engines. He was a member of the Lion's Club, Servicemen's Club and V.F.W where he served as commander. He was a member of Trinity and Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Robert is survived by his children: , Jack (Pam) Schwint of Fridley, Jill (Kevin) Munstertuger of Buffalo, Jerry (Julie) Schwint of Redwood Falls, grandchildren: Jacob, Carli (Travis), Anna Schwint, Amanda and Abby Munsterteiger, Cheynne and Tabatha Schwint, sister in law Sandy (John) Schmanski, nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents, his wives: Janet and Viola, and Eunice, sisters: Francis (Russ) Feig, Hazel (Ebe) Ebelsisor, Grace (Bill) Volker, and Marjorie (Ivan) Sandmann.
