Oryan Howe, age 31, of St. James, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 1, 2021, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in St. James with Rev. Jim Renz officiating. Burial will follow at Long Lake Lutheran Cemetery rural St. James. Visitation will be Sunday at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James from 2-5pm and at the church one hour before services on Monday. Oryan Jacob Howe was born October 29th, 1989 to Orlin and Jessica Howe. Taken to heaven October 27th, 2021. He was raised on the family farm south of St. James, MN. He attended St. Paul's Lutheran School in St. James till 8th grade. He got his G.E.D. in 2008. He attended and graduated from Central Lakes College with a degree in heavy machine operations. He tried many jobs till he found that he liked driving. The last years have been with Hager Trucking. Since his teen years he has attended and then volunteered for the Youth for Christ centers. He enjoyed going to the Railroad Club building and working on the trains when time allowed. He did some local car racing. If it was mechanical he enjoyed doing it! His big heart and willingness to help anybody will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents Orlin and Jessica Howe, brother Cody and his wife Tasha Howe, brother Logan Howe, niece Aubryn and nephew Oakley Howe. Special "adoptive" brother "2 1/2", Jacob Flitter and his wife Chelsey and two kids. Grandparents Erwin and Rosemary Atzenhoefer. Many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his Grandparents Otey and Audrey Howe, Aunt Deb Romsdahl and Uncle Ivan Thiessen.
