Obituary of Kevin Michael Keil

Kevin Keil was born June 26, 1951, in Springfield, MN to Alexander Albert, Jr. and Mary Ann (Groebner) Keil. He attended St. Raphael's Catholic School and Springfield High School. Kevin proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked many years for Carlson Construction and M & R Paving and Excavating. Kevin enjoyed life on his hobby farm where he worked in his shop restoring classic vehicles. He also enjoyed painting, fishing, and woodcarving, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Kevin had a love for animals and raised horses for a few years. Kevin Michael Keil died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the age of 64 years. Kevin is survived by his children- Jessica and husband Matthew Bushard of Shakopee, and Travis and wife Leslie Keil of Eden Prairie; grandson Noah Bushard; sisters- Sharon (Jack) Sturm of Aitkin, and Kathy Keil of St. Cloud; and nephews- Jeffrey and wife Angie Sturm of Alaska and their daughter, and Tim and wife Misty Sturm of Aitkin and their 2 sons. He was preceded in death by his parents- Alex in 1993, and Mary Ann in 1997.
