Obituary of Myron Dale Buetow
Myron Dale Buetow was born January 11, 1946, in Tracy, MN to Albert and Edna (Dallman) Buetow. He attended Lamberton High School and was inducted into the U.S. Army on February 16, 1966 where he served as Chief Cook. Myron was honorably discharged on February 15, 1968. He helped area farmers and operated a gas station in Clements with Jim Estum. Myron was united in marriage to Roberta Pratt on December 30, 1989, at the Franklin Lutheran Church. He enjoyed gardening, mechanic work, camping, fishing, and his trips to the Mt. Pleasant, IA threshing bee and Butterfield threshing shows.
Myron Dale Buetow died Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Franklin at the age of 70 years.
He is survived by wife Roberta of Montevideo; children- Myron, Jr. (Heather) Ellanson of New Ulm, Cary (Dawn) Quigley of Tracy, Teresa (Terry) Ackerman of Tracy, and William 'Willie' Buetow of Sanborn; grandchildren- Gannon Engels, Annesa Campos, Dani Fisher, and Levi and Janessa Ellanson; siblings- Joyce Crooks of Redwood Falls, Alvina (Larry) Moyars of Tracy, Irene (Ruben) Dommer of Palos Hills, IL, and Wilmer (Dorothy) Buetow of Lamberton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; grandson Caleb Ackerman; sisters- Lenora Theis and Florence Perleberg; brothers- Harry, Raymond and Art Buetow; and brother-in-law Richard Crooks.
