Obituary of Gary Charles Weisbrich

Gary Charles Weisbrich was born March 29, 1942, in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Anita (Rolling) Weisbrich. He graduated from Tracy High School in 1960, then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-64. Gary was united in marriage to Catherine 'Kay' Fobbe on June 15, 1968 in Maple Lake, MN. Gary worked for 7-Up bottling in Tracy, Control Data, and at his father's grocery store and meat business in Balaton. He started Lamberton Meat Service in 1970 and sold that business in 1984. He then went into trucking and working at Och's Brick and Tile in Springfield until retiring in 1999. Gary was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Shriners, and Andrew Peterson American Legion Post #41. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, yardwork, gardening, and riding his Harley. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and following his children's sporting events.

Gary Weisbrich died Wednesday, April 21, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74 years.

He is survived by wife Kay; children- Joe Weisbrich of Excelsior, Jenny (Mark) Farrell of Centerville, Dave (Araceli) Weisbrich of Bloomington, Pat (Mandy) Weisbrich of Anchorage, AL, John (Robyn) Weisbrich of Humboldt, IA, and Gary 'Butch' (Angela) Weisbrich of Missoula, MT; 19 grandchildren; 3+ great-grandchildren; brother Terry (Shay) Weisbrich of St. Rosa, CA; and sisters- Mary Lou Weisbrich of Waconia, Debi (Todd) Pack of St. Cloud, and Patty (Gary) Amundson of Pequot Lakes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother John; and sister Janet.
