Bob, Cleve, Val, Paula and families, I was sad to hear of Aunt Shirley's passing but I know she was ready to meet her beloved cowboy again. That thought brings me comfort and a smile to my face. I will always remember her delicious baked beans she brought to the memorial day picnics. (Except the year she did the unthinkable! She changed her recipe and added green peppers!! LOL) I loved her sweets she spoiled us with when we came to the farm to visit. I remember the spiral staircase was just the coolest thing. As I grew up, I loved hearing from her at Christmas time and the sweet things she would write about my girls. When my Mom and I would stop to visit her at the Maples she still had sweets to share....choc truffles to be exact. Shirley was so very blessed to be loved and cared for by all of you and your wonderful families. Hugs to you all. Maribeth Salfer
