
Obituary of Robert R Hoffmann
Robert Roman Hoffmann was born on August 31, 1947 in Sleepy Eye, MN, the son of Roman N. and Lucille (Zwaschka) Hoffmann. He grew up and lived all his life on the farm near Sleepy Eye. He attended country school for five years and then graduated from St. Mary's High School. He served in the United States Air Force from April of 1966 until his honorable discharge in February of 1970. Robert was a member of the American Legion and the VFW and was an usher at church. He liked to hunt, fish and spend time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Hoffmann of Sleepy Eye, children, Carl (Caitlin) of New Ulm, Keith of Sleepy Eye, granddaughter, Claire, sisters, Marjorie Dummer of New Ulm, Lorraine Schweiss of Mankato, Dolores (David) Kokesch of Gibbon and Marilyn Hulke of New Ulm. He was preceded in death by parents, Roman and Lucille Hoffmann, brothers-in-law, Joseph Dummer, James Schweiss, Larry Hulke, several nieces, nephews and a great niece.
