I am in total shock to hear this news. Sue welcomed me to Arizona with open arms when I was hired by her manager and she instantly became my best friend. I will never forget her laughter and the compassion she had for all around her. I love you Susie, my heart is broken knowing I will never hear your voice again.

I still can not believe I will not get another opportunity to hear your voice, laugh with you, get advice from you or get cursed out by you for being late and not picking up the phone.
Every memory I have been blessed with of our friendship stemmed from acts of you giving. You have provided me with unconditional support in countless instances. I thank God for your parents & family who taught you how to love. You were as rare as they come and I will love you eternally, Sis. There will be a huge void in this universe without your spirit on this earth.

I remember Sue from when she attended NU High. She was on the basketball team with my girls and there were many fun time. She spent time at our house and it was always a pleasure to have her there. One basketball trip is a fun memory. I was driving part of the team and Sue wanted to be in my car. I already had 4 in the back seat but she laid across their laps and refused to leave..(before seat belts required). the girls squeezed her in and away we went. Never a dull moment.
My sympathy to the family for such a big loss to your family. I do know that Her sunset on earth is a beautiful sunrise in Heaven.

My Susie Q…I am in disbelief and heartbroken by the news of your passing, tears of sadness keep running down as I remember all the great times we had and know that we will never have a chance to do it all again. You would light up a room with your beauty, smile and your charm plus you being a smartass helped…lol!Not only were you gorgeous you had a beautiful soul and you always loved your children and talked about them often. You were a single mother and we had that in common and we both talked about our stories but we didn’t let that define us…my son is now a Navy Veteran and your son is in the Air Force. We raised our sons to be fathers and be there for their children, wives and families no matter what. You were great mother, your children and grandchildren were everything to you. I am truly going to miss you my dear friend I’m just thinking back at times when you asked me for my hair…to make a weave! Girl! I was like “WTH!” You called it “Charon hair” Being a Native I never heard of people making “weaves” from hair so I was like WTH?!?! I am truly going to miss you Susie Q! Until we meet again. Rest in Paradise Gorgeous Susie Q, I love you my friend.

Oh Sue - Where do I start - We began our friendship working for the Department of Economic Security and turned into work sisters and remained that way. I have so many great memories and I will cherish them always. One of the great memories is of you dancing down the walkway at work singing Cool Rider from Grease 2 - which you said was your favorite movie. And then you would call me every now and then to sing it to me LOL and of course another great memory is when you would have Zoe sing to me for my birthdays. I'm going to miss our phone calls when we would talk and laugh for hours. I love you Sue and I'm going to miss you always.
