Obituary of Cynthia Moe

Cynthia Lee Moe was born on July 26, 1947, to Charles and Barbara (Larsen) Welshans in Minneapolis, MN.  She graduated from Richfield High School in 1965 and then attended Minnesota School of Business.  From 1966-1968 Cindy worked for the Gamble's home office and then from 1968-1970 she worked at BF Goodrick in the footwear division.  On April 30, 1970, she was united in marriage to Kurt Moe in Minneapolis.  Cindy then worked for the Civil Defense office and then at Country Casual dress shop for 8 years.  She worked with Kurt on the farm from the time they moved to Springfield in 1972.  Cindy enjoyed teaching and judging ceramics and also owned her own ceramic studio for over 30 years.  She also enjoyed flowers and was a certified judge for gladiolas and was a member of the local garden club.  Cindy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran Home Auxiliary.  

She is survived by her siblings - Paul (Carol Ann) Welshans of Eagan, Robert (Candy) Welshans of Minneapolis, and Suzanne Ward of St. Louis Park; mother-in-law Margaret Moe; brothers-in-law - Bruce (Mary) Moe of Holmen, WI and Lonn Moe of Shoreview, MN; plus many beloved nieces and nephews.  Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2016; brother-in-law Dwayne Ward; and father-in-law - Roy Moe.
