Obituary of Esther Windschitl
Esther was born on September 23, 1946 in Sleepy Eye, MN the daughter of Clement and Hilda (Domeier) Hoffman. She attended District #28 country school in rural Sleepy Eye. Esther was united in marriage to Marvin Windschitl on October 31, 1964 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple made their home and farmed in Mulligan Township. Esther was a member of the Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth where she was active in the CCW and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed flowers, playing cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin of Comfrey, sons, Roman of Mankato, Leon (Denise) of Worthington, son-in-law, Tim Anderson of Comfrey, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings, Rosemary Franta of New Ulm, Chucky (Violet) Hoffman of Aurora, CO, Paul (Eileen) Hoffman of Hanska, sisters-in-law, Doris Hoffman of Searles and Rhony Hoffman of New Ulm. Esther is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Marie Windschitl and Monica Anderson, brothers, Pat and Clem and brother-in-law, Cletus Franta.
