LeVene Charles "Beanie" Knudtson was born October 21st, 1932 to Alvin and Marie (Neelman) Knudtson in Madelia, Minnesota. He went to school through the 8th grade and made his name as a prankster along with his brother. After his school years he began farming until 1953 when he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in and was a veteran of the Korean War.

In 1963 he was united in marriage to Theresa Mosser at the Linden Church in rural Hanska, Minnesota. They had 3 daughters and spent many happy years together. He spent 30+ years as a concrete worker with Gopher Concrete and worked into his early 70's only retiring to care for his wife Theresa when she fell ill.

Beanie enjoyed woodworking and tinkering and lawn care. He enjoyed a good book and a party, didn't have to be a good party he just loved a party. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he made many happy memories with them that they will cherish for a lifetime.

LeVene was a selfless man who was loving, kind, thankful and full of one liners that were impeccably timed. His family shared many laughter and love filled moments with him.
